Over a long and distinguished career, Mr. Hopkins has wide and varied business experience in Home Sale Publishing, Manufactured Housing, Mausoleum sales and development, laundry and dry-cleaning equipment sales and distribution. In 1981 after meeting and visiting with Jon and Christal DeHon, founders of Resort Condominiums International (RCI) in Indianapolis, Mr. Hopkins decided to enter the Timeshare business and since it has become a career. Now Mr. Hopkins has been active in the resort and timeshare industry for over a quarter century. 26 years ago, he became the off-site broker for Royal Aloha Vacation Club in Honolulu, which at that time was one of the largest timeshare companies in the business. From that day forward, Mr. Hopkins has searched for ways to make luxury vacation condominiums available to a greater segment of the population at the lowest possible cost. Through Royalty Americana Vacation Resort Club, which offers hundreds of upscale resorts around the world, Mr. Hopkins has achieved this goal. Mr. Hopkins is the father of seven (four daughters and three sons), and a grandfather of thirteen. His son Brett is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and is a naval carrier pilot, with the rank of Commander. Brett is a recent graduate of the prestigious Navy War College in Newport, RI. Mr. Hopkins' grandson Andrew is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy (West Point). He is an Army Ranger with a rank of Major and has served three tours in the Iraq war. Mr. Hopkins attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, playing varsity basketball at both universities. He has lived most of his adult life in Indianapolis, IN, where three of his daughters still reside. For the last seven years, Mr. Hopkins and his wife, Pamela, have lived in a beautiful home in the Chaparral Pines Golf Community in Payson, AZ.
